VCI-based corrosion protection

The VCI corrosion protection system is one of the most economical corrosion protection techniques currently available in the metal industry.

With VCI liquid products and VCI packaging materials, VCI corrosion protection inhibitors that evaporate easily are integrated into special corrosion protection products or into packaging materials.

These VCI (Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor) substances evaporate and are quickly adsorbed from metal surfaces. The VCI substances therefore allow the conservation of areas that are extremely difficult to access.

The conservation of specific processes can be focused, for example, on cooling systems, piping systems, gear boxes, pumps and many other hollow metal bodies. For internal transport or transport within Germany or overseas, these products are suitable for their application requirements. Depending on the product the protection lasts for one to two years.
